On the subject of customizable views, I know E*trade is working on another cool thing: soon we should be able to "play around" with stocks that we can buy, given the current amount we have in our accounts. For example, I have a little spreadsheet on Excel in which I try to figure out if it would be better for me to buy 100 shares of ABC or 200 shares of XYZ. Soon we should be able to do this right in the E*Trade window and then (hopefully) hit a button and place the order.

Also, I really hope we can wire money in and out or transfer money over the internet or something --- Wells Fargo has online banking which is extremley convinient.

I don't know how to use Quicken yet, but everyone tells me how wonderful it is... being able to interface to E*Trade using Quicken would be a big plus.... I figure the people who have E*Trade accounts are generally the type of people who take their financial destiny into their own hands... exactly the type of customers who use quicken...
