Jim, I saw a study on channel inventory levels a few days ago that agrees with your assertion that Compaq has started to stuff the channel again. The study compared Apple, IBM, HP & CPQ in terms of days sales of inventory in the channel. The report concluded that Compaq inventory had spiked upwards in March. I didn't bookmark the report and now I can't find it any longer.
