PAUL, indeed I have been busy in realigning my portfolio to cushion it from deteriorating prices and to lock in some profits. I reduced my portfolio by 40% and raised enough cash to ride the rebound of selected stocks. Earnings have led to loss of few points regardless of their strength. I sold 15,000 TAVA with tremendous profit. I still have 6,000. I have a feeling it will have earnings indigestion. If it has excellent news and shows a strong movement I can jump back in. Last news could not sustain upward movement of price. I love the stock but I love my gains more. I sold SYNT and now I hold only 1000 shares. I have moved some funds over the last few weeks to CPQ, PFE, etc.
My major holdings are in IMRS, CBSL,SEEC and MAST. I continue to add to my IMRS and CBSL. These two WILL LEAD THE REBOUND. I plan to get back into SYNT if I can buy it much cheaper. I am keeping my eyes open for MMWW and BRCM.
I would love to hear your comments.
