Tony,

OTOTOTOT

Glad to hear you've got some new toys to play with. I love my new computer here at work, PII/266. Yes now its a bit out dated but a few months ago it was top of the line. It won't take long to fill up that 'virgin' hard drive, believe me. I've had to run defrag a few times already on mine since I use a lot of temp files when using MS C++. Which I haven't had much time to do lately, working mostly on the UNIX product right now. Still have my 386/25 and my thinkpad at home, since I really don't use the computer much there. I'll have to get one later this year for my kids. My daughter is really bugging me for once since she uses one at day care. I just think at 3 or 4 there are much better things to do than sit in front of a tube.

About splitting the IRIS. I called the extension office, since I want to know to. Mary Jane (I kid you not) told me wait until they are done blooming. Dig them out and break them on their natural splits and remove any dead parts then replant them. Just don't do it in the hottest part of the summer. I don't think you get as hot as we do here but I suppose its so they dont wilt or have a chance to re-establish them selves.

I agree about the short blooming season of bulbs and some tubers but they are usually the first sign of spring. I also like the greenery of some of them and I plant annuals after the bulbs stop blooming.

You know I can't make it to the meeting this year. You need to tell those guys/gals to get with it so I can make some money off the stock and maybe next year. I don't have enough frequent flyer miles saved up either. I do expect a full report though!! and if you need some steak I'll send you some. <gg>

Have a great day!!

Take Care

Ann
