Yeah, but you buy the stock, just what are you going to tell them ??? O.K., you bought it, now what ? Send it to Smith Barney? It's not how it's done. Have YOUR trader call them and do the work. This is their world, and you accomplish the same thing. Have your broker/trader see how much stock they have at the ask. But don't get too caught up in it. 10,000 share is easy enough to fill from their standpoint. 100,000 isn't. Somtimes having a relationship inside the business gets you these answers without all these problems.
