What would happen if some stereotypes were actually true?
What if . . . white men can't jump, gay men are swishy, blacks don't tip well, asians aren't great drivers, southerners drawl, the irish have hot tempers, jamaicans aren't punctual, jews are tight with money, men make bad housekeepers. . . ?
What happens when one says "something" which has been observed often enough to be deemed a notable trait of a group, yet isn't true for each individual in that group?
Should we scientifically verify each of our opinions about groups of people before stating them?
Is it right to have opinions about other groups of people? Do these opinions have utility?
