Well, I don't agree. Some software ships on floppies.

I am just trying to point out that if people want the floppy, then I'm sure they can get it bto. Jobs also said that it was aimed at the people who want on the internet and play games. Remember the target market. That market will rarely use floppies, and those who do will order one. I, of course, can't imagine being without a floppy-but the person who Jobs is going after to buyt this won't care.

Maybe it will help if I could find some stats for the board. Where I work I have stats coming out the wazoo. In fact, one just came across my desk from Odyssy Homefront on the most used plug-ins. Pleasantly surprised, Quicktime was #1 with it being installed in 25% of all browsers. This is great as I sometimes have a hard time convincing co-workers that Quicktime is so popular. I will try to find stats on how much software (especially internet and games-the target market) comes on floppies and also how many people use their floppies now.

Also realize that Steve can't make the iMac *too* feature-laden or it'll take away sales from the high margin desktops.
