I am aware of the purchase commitment reports. They are for the third quarter not the second quarter. Undoubtedly, they are in anticipation of the traditionally strong third and fourth quarters. However, again it indicates that they are on a build to forecast manufacturing model.
This is the same model that got them into trouble last quarter and this quarter. There is no evidence of real improvement in CPQ's management or business model.

You seem to be willing to ignore the CPQ major problems. Perhaps, you are the one drinking the bad water.
