Gabriel, Re: Channel Inventory Levels Thanks for the confirming tidbit. I am going to make another analysis of CPQ financials with my brother who is a CPA. He said they are putting their price protection payoffs into the other category on their income statement. Then they factor their accounts receivable to improve the cash situation. They re caught in a double bind with the need to introduce new products while at the same time disposing of the old products through the same channels. If they do not stuff the channel with new product their revenues will drop abruptly. This will cause thir stock price to drop again. I think this is an important issue because it may indicate that DELL has broken through CPQ's lines.
