NASHVILLE, Tenn., May 7 (Reuters) - Discount retailer Dollar General Corp. said on Thursday same store sales for the four weeks ended May 1, 1998, increased 20.2 percent and total sales surged 36.2 percent to $218.0 million from $160.0 million a year ago.
