Morning, I just took a small stake in NQCI this morning. I've followed Jeff and Sri on the ABMI thread for a number of months now, and I've found their insight to be always compelling. I read through the thread and info on the company and it sounded intriguing.

My only fear is that I invested in a home dialysis company in the late '80's that went through incredible rockiness when Medicare reimbursements changed dramatically. On one day in particular, a sudden change caused a 90% share price drop. Ouch! Eventually the company was acquired and I did alright with my investment, but it was touch and go the whole way.

I can see it's a different story with National Quality Care -- the other company was being forced to become like NQCI -- this' just to explain my trepidation at first when Sri recommended NQCI on the ABMI thread. But I'll be anxious to see how this business grows!

>The politics of the Medicare program in general make sudden change quite unlikely. Remarkably, in the case of dialysis, Medicare reform promises to benefit providers!<
