Just opinion not necessarily fact...

There seems to be a irrational tendency to blame the MM's in these penny stocks when they take such radical swings in share price - up and down. It is NOT the MM' that are doing this. They are only reacting to traders ,who have been sold/loaned our shares from our brokers to be used to drive the share price down.

Yes! The MM's will drop the bid very quickly and raise the ask just as quickly.... but they are reacting to external pressure. MM's are NOT the cause of the large swings directly.

The place to point the finger is at our brokers. Our brokers refuse to allow us to sell short our shares in penny stocks. There is NO SEC REGULATION preventing us from entering short orders in penny stocks. Our brokers are simply refusing our short sales because they have the only game in town and it is way to profitable to short or loan your shares for shorting to other brokers.

The way to fight this legal fraud (condoned by the NASD - for their brokers benefit!) is to keep after our brokers to make this a fair game for all investors. Write to Nasdaq, the NASD regulators, and the SEC to 'level' the playing field.

Our brokers are the root cause of these radical down swings in OTC:BB stocks - it is NOT the marker makers!! Our brokers have handcuffed us so that we can not protect our positions with a short sale... some brokers may let you box your position, but this is still not as effective as a good short only.

Are there any other suggestions on how to change the Nasdaq market OTC:BB policy of allowing our brokers to appropriate moneys from their retail clients accounts?

IMO, nick
