Well, as long as you bring it up, I contacted a an ex coworker in Dallas
and he submitted the following report.

Trip report:
good muffins.
Poked into a good session on the nuts and bolts of testing techniques,
priority sorting, and pooling of vendor equipment test results, how to visit
vendors (by utilities and by epri). Overall impression was a pretty good
set of engineer types comparing notes on practical matters. tone was low
key but serious.

Wish I had more time to attend. Looked like one could spend three days
there and emerge pretty well up on the techcial issues.
Did not see a full schedule or get a sense of plenary type meetings
addressing overall national risk etc.
no press coverage observed. I called several media and told them they
should get their bu...s down there.

What's your snail mail address? I picked up some handouts I'd be happy to
send you.
