the world. All international long distance and local telephone calls,

internet telephony network. This has been made possible by the Corporation's successful takeover bids of MCI AT&T, Sprint, LCI International, as well as numerous smaller companies located across the globe. The purchases of Lucent Technologies, UUNet, and Cisco Systems provided necessary infrastructure materials.
