I was also long on THQI for about a week. At first I thought THQI had great prospects with few shares outstanding and great management. and it recently dropped off so I grabbed shares at 21.

But since I own an N64 and know a bit about games I came to the realization that THQI has a lackluster lineup compared to AKLM's. THQI has Quest and that's it. People are touting Rugrats but that's one year away! I know THQI is a niche player and they will continue to make money on fishing and bowling games. The company has tons of cash now and their financials look great but I like Acclaim more:

1. AKLM's Development studios are wholly owned subsidiarys of the company. They are not merely a publishing company.

2. AKLM's lineup for the next 9 months is absolutely unbelievable. Speaking strictly N64 they are going to be able to stand toe to toe with anyone, even Nintendo. I'm not even considering PC or the crowded PSX market (which I think AKLM will still succeed in)

3. Since its jaded past AKLM is considered quite a "risky" turnaround play. But I believe that the risk is considerably lower considering increasing revenues (based on my beliefs of their future success) and decreasing costs.

4. There is just more room for stock appreciation in the next 8 months
