It looks to me like Dell has gotten most of its recent run up based solely on perception of its potential for future earnings. Anyone with an understanding of the industry as a whole would see CPQ's potential as at least as bright as Dell's on at least twice the revenue. I think people have been waiting to see how CPQ gets through the quarter, or, like me, grabbing as much of that Dell rise as possible while CPQ is sitting still. But as I said last week when I moved my FDX, MANU and CYCH positions to CPQ, the train is about to pull out, I think I picked last half of may so we're actually a little early which I regard as a good sign. I am pretty heavy into CPQ now but it looks to me like the closest thing to a sure bet in this sector for 2nd half of 98. My sense is that there are a lot of others who feel that way as well.
