It was a calculated assessment of the odds...actually it was part outright luck. But like anything in life, it is not what luck good or bad comes your way, it is what you prepare for and ultimately what you are able to do with what you are given. I can imagine myself in a retirement facility with the nursing assistant outside my closed door: Bob, since your arrival here you have not been out socializing at all during our day time activities.
