Wonderbread:
You are exactly right, for a long term investor, this is a blip. Arnie has made this point over and over. However, when markets sell off, the posts start flying what is wrong with nextel. What I attempt to do is give the underlying strengths and weakness's of the company a technical perspective relative to the current climate. At the moment, whatever the nextels benefits are, they are being overshadowed by its huge debt in an overvalued market. Remember when you were a kid the game, paper covers rock, rock breaks scissors, etc., well in the market place, debt always covers the positives, when the market is in an ugly mood. That debt is looming very large right now, and the market does not want to hear about future add ons. It is difficult to tell if the market is or is about to correct, but the last days action in nextel is telling us, that if the break is to the downside, nextel will be leading the charge with other highly leveraged plays.
