The recipe for DF-144 can be modified as one poster (Gordon an Exxon Chemist I believe) made mention to. He was familiar with the interaction and chemicals. By adjusting these chemicals you can make it work in race car. Marine vessels, Airplanes and so forth.

Now you can't just throw moonshine in a car even though it is like drinking gasoline. It will destroy the motor unless properly mixed.

For those interested or have a chemical misunderstanding go read Gordon's post. He convinced himself. Now his last post to me gave me a warm and fuzzy feeling.
