Lancer Orthodontics Announces Two New Products to Reduce Treatment Time By Up to 50 Percent
SAN MARCOS, Calif., May 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Lancer Orthodontics, Inc. (Nasdaq: LANZ) today said that it will introduce two new innovative and exclusive products at the major American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) convention to be held in Dallas, Texas in mid May 1998. The products significantly reduce patient treatment time and chair time which benefits practitioners, managed care organizations and patients.
Lancer Orthodontics will introduce a bio-efficient orthodontic bracket which has proven to reduce treatment time by up to 50 percent. The new bracket not only increases patient convenience but also provides significant cost savings. The state-of-the-art bracket, placed on the patient's teeth, both simplifies and enhances treatment.
In addition, the Company plans to introduce a new transfer system which will significantly reduce the amount of time a patient spends in the orthodontist's chair. The novel transfer system does not require the doctor to go through the process of removing bands and provides the benefits of patient comfort, saved time and cost reductions.
