The price you pay for a stock determines your rate of return. The higher you pay, the lower your return. The lower you pay, the higher your return. Granted that it is humanly impossible to buy at the exact bottom, but anybody who missed the bottom by miles should at least have the grace to admit that his recommendation was not properly timed after all. I wonder why am I saying all this anyway... for sometime ago, I visited Brinker's website and there, I saw a link to this thread! Now, that was sufficient indication that we can never have an objective discussion about Brinker on this forum.
