Patrick, I learned a long time ago not to talk to non-investors about my mkt activity/trades. They freak out at the idea of hard currency being put at risk just with regular stock. The average person with investment capital is only comfortable with mutual funds, as you probably know. Nine out of ten times I've found that talking about a trade I have on or potential investment candidate causes me to change my plan and make a mistake. The avg joe on the street knows nothing/zero/zip/nada about investing/trading, so why even bring their thoughts into my mind, it just messes me up, no matter if they're your best friend, spouse, father/mother etc.
