Open letter to Mr. Benhamou! Dear Mr. President: I've written to you before saying how stupid you is sitting on the board of Netscape. Yesterday I saw that Microsoft ink another modem deal with Cisco. Where's your piece of the pie when every copy of Windows 98 is bundled with a Cisco modem? Last week your people talked up a "huge" modem contract with TCI, I scraped together all my savings for another May call. Today I am wiped out and realized that you were on the wrong side of the track: the way to make money with cable is not with modems but with the descramblers. Every few days, my emailbox is jammed with offers for no-name descramblers. You should win immediate name recognition if you market 2Palm Descramber for Double-Pleasure (just like Playboy's pride on being 1Hand Magazine). I recognize that descrambler set-top devices require another type of sales channel so I've lined up a friend who can sell you one billion email addresses (sorted, no duplicates) for $99 in case you need help with this. In the meantime, I advise you to shave the damn moustache off your face. Why every naked guy on the coitus channels has to wear a moustache is beyond me. Yours truly.
