I just checked the main SGI www page...and looked at the tech.update.. This is the direct link and the relevant portion: sgi.com Our current MIPS-based workstations, O2TM, OCTANETM, and Onyx2TM, are slated for numerous performance enhancements over the coming 12 to 18 months. Later this year, the MIPS R12000TM will be available providing a significant increase in application performance. So it sounds like later this year.. Mark
