Thrust zone drill results Alliance Pacific Gold Corp APG Shares issued 12,503,627 May 7 close $0.35 Thu 7 May 98 News Release Mr. Brian Lueck reports The winter project at the Plata mine property has been completed. Drilling was conducted on the southern part of the Thrust zone, formerly known as the P4 zone. The 1998 winter program has confirmed the continuity of the Thrust zone and successfully increased the previously calculated grade for this zone. A total of 16 vertical rotary drill holes were drilled within the zone and three trench samples were collected weighing approximately 100 pounds each. The first three holes were terminated because of problems with water and mud layers. The company is encouraged by these results and expects to continue with exploration at the Plata mine property. Equipment and fuel for future drilling and trenching are currently on site.
