Thank you very much for the links. I took a couple of minutes to quickly look them over, and I've marked for latter reading.

I do feel that MSFT will eventully end up in the same position as Standard Oil, but I don't yet think the software industry is even close, yet. I feel it is far to premature to break MSFT apart.
