"My little friends", Frank? Is this another of your conspiracy theories? I guess only you know what you are talking about. Anyway, here's the point. Graystone, in his inimitable style, posted the opinion that Asensio created the large short position in KRY. Did he base this on fact? Simple answer, no. Three days before Asensio published his first report (March 3), the short position was 1.18 million shares. Three weeks later, it peaked at 1.36 million shares. On April 30, it was 1.04 million shares, actually 140,000 shares less than where it was before Asensio. Conclusion: Asensio had little effect on the KRY short position, boosting it about 10% and then only for a couple of weeks. In fact, the short position was nearly a million shares a full 6 months before Mr. Asensio appeared on the scene! Asensio created the large short position in KRY - yeah, right Graystone.

Of course, this is only for the TSE, so if you are in possesion of the stats for the U.S. market, please share them with us. Here's the raw data I got from the TSE:
