Besides VVUS! If there is ever such a thing..
New internet IPO. Just to give a quick briefing to those who don't know much about this, basically there are two major cable modem service providers: Cox@Home (owned by Comcast), and RoadRunner (owned by Time Warner). As you know Bill Gates invested a billion dollars into the cable modem industry via Comcast. It was known as his "billion dollar bet". Check out this url:
idg.net These two providers only market large residential and business areas with over 500,000 people in metropolitan areas. There is another company that markets the smaller areas such as Humboldt county, California called Internet Ventures.
Check out: perki.net

This company is finishing a Direct Public Offering and will IPO in July. The symbol will be IVI and it will be traded on the Nasdaq exchange. Their share price is $11 a piece.(matched shares offer is over) They have no debt, they are highly interested in expansion, and they are very aggressive in marketing their stock and their company!

A few days ago at the cable convention at Atlanta, an agreement was achieved in which Internet Ventures would be used to market all smaller markets across the U.S. for the Comcast corporation. Internet Ventures now has two securities firms following the company. They have been mentioned in The Investor's Buisness Daily, and if you contact them, they will send you a packet of some 100 other major forms of media that they have been displayed in. This agreement is not public news as of yet. You can buy Internet Ventures shares directly from the company. They will probably run out within the next few weeks I am told. You can also wait for the July IPO.

If you have any more questions, please check out the Internet
Ventures web site, e-mail info@perki.net, fill out their
