James, while you were posting I erased two prayers I wanted to put here. The first was that we were all like Lot in Gomorrah, waiting for an angel to come to personally tell us what to do next.
I want to pray for lost souls, but actually I am more compelled to pray for God's mercy on the believers. And all who come by here who truly have a good heart. That God will touch them with His Holy Spirit so they will have some assurance He is real. Father you have stated in your word you send angels as ministering spirits to draw men to Jesus Christ.
I pray that all who come by here find a touch of the Holy Spirit, and you send a ministering angel with them when they leave. I feel like I can hear the angels going to and fro yelling "Woe, Woe to the Inhabitants of Earth."
Father God, of ourselves we can do nothing. Please cause all hindance in our lives and anything that comes between us and you to be removed, whether that be painful or unpleasant, whatever it takes to help us be accounted worthy, then I pray you loose the things in Heaven needed to bring this to pass.
Jesus, Precious Lord and Giver of Life and Salvation, help us to keep our eyes on the Eastern sky. And know to look to the hills from whence cometh our help. That we are encompassed by so great a cloud of witnesses.
Help us now, Lord. Of ourselves we can do absolutely nothing. It is by Thy Spirit, and only by Thy Spirit.
Help us Lord. Have mercy on the Earth and please send your Holy Spirit. May the Holy Spirit blow across the land from one end to the other, and may the Fire start again. |
