To all past and future seminar grads: Subj: IL/ACT philosophy 301 The ACT activates the IL. The ACT must also be activated. A truly ballistic move that hits the IL is what activates the ACT which in turn creates the dynamic that verifies the IL. The existence of an ACT cannot be justified unless the IL dictated by the ACT is, at the very least, approached. I realize that it is difficult to avoid presupposition and that any presupposition is not to be entirely ruled out but this "sequence" of IL/ACT dynamics is what must be understood before the ACT/IL can move from the realm of "art" to the realm of utility.
