AltiVec- for a hot server <Soup, What kind of Mac will AltiVec Make?> If I may, I think these chips are optimized for networking tasks; hence- Think Rhapsody. <Will the Macs of the future have mind-boggling capability at $1000 or so?> If you wait long enough, casio will put one in a watch for $29.95.
