Mr. Forthright:
Nortran came to one of our investment conferences last year. I liked the company, met management, went at my own expense to visit the company, have spent countless hours researching it and writing about it, and said when the stock was at around $0.77 that it should be fairly valued at $2.16 (no one else was saying that in widespread print, to my knowledge). This steady upward trend, at least to the low two's was the stock catching up with the value. Last time I checked, this was an analytical tribute and not an offshoot of promotion.
But, without the brilliance of the people at NRT, my predictions, valuation, good words and critical words (of which I have supplied plenty), would have amounted to nothing.
I have merely benefitted from the diligence, guts and vigor demonstrated by everyone involved at NRT. Something that I recognized about the people immediately upon meeting them.
I am quite happy for people like Wisee, Paul S., SOROS, et al, who saw the same characteristics in the firm that I did. These people are much better off today than they were in January as a result. i hope you were as fortunate.
