Greenspan's speech 5/7/98....has a lot to say about leverage

Baron's last week had an article on margin debt...twice as high as
it has ever been before and 40% higher then last year.
Either more people are learning how to use margin, the market liquidity
can stand higher levels or few people are investing earnings...just debt.
I do't know if this is negitve sign....but it's interesting.

Still 50/50 on 19th rate increase.
But it looks like I was dead wrong testing 8900.....

But market players will buy the blue chips right through 10,000 so they can
retire next year and have something to tell their grand children.
"We took the market from 6000 to 10,000 in 18 months...wow, it was wonderful."
