Craig: You are misinformed about a couple of things: 1) Microscoft actively steals employees who have valuable trade secretes. 2) It has told computer suppliers it will with hold it's current Win95 product from them if they include netscape. 3) Microscot pays internet service providers to supply IE and will not pay or provide IE if the ISP provides netscape. 4) Gates was so thrilled with the internet that he didn't even include anything about it in the first edition of his 1994 book "the road ahead". He later updated the book when he realized the world had changed and he and Microsoft missed it. Do you know how much money it takes to litigate against Microsoft? More than the value of an office building in Beverly Hills. Do you know how much money it would take to successfully introduce and advertise a product in direct competition with microsoft? More than the value of Utah. I'm glad you love Microsoft. And I'm glad you send them money for their thrilling programs. And yes, I have bought products from Netscape, but I don't consider their (past) corporate policy (or some of their products) much better than microsoft. But releasing the netscape source code puts them in a very different place.
