I don't think anyone that is serious about CIEN is taking Lucent lightly but I believe the market is big enough for more than one or two major players. Your point is nothing new around here but it is the usual gasoline that will drive the hard core Cien shareholders to counter with Lucent's "vaporware" bashing. "FEAR" & "GREED" is what wall street is all about. Sounds like you are no different than the rest.
