I don't think there is very much downside left.

The channel levels are the last cloud that is hanging over the company right now. The street needs to see hard numbers that things are back in control. We should have a good picture of this in the next CC and earnings report.

I get a kick out of the OEM margin problem. (IT isn't a problem!)

Some people want to equate this company to Cisco, they cannot because they are very different companies! Cisco sells to the core and 3Com sells to the edge. While there is some movement by both of them to sell to all customers Cisco's advantage is that it sold higher margin products all along. That gives them a lot of money to play with, a tremendous advantage when you want to grow the company.

I just hope that 3Com does not take on a merger the size of USRobotics again!
