Gary. To be sure, no one in the data networking field underestimates LU and I'm sure that their VoIP product (when ready) will be very, very good. My comment probably relates to one of the articles (!!) I've posted in the last week in which an analyst (and LU itself) admitted that LU has moved too slowly in the last couple years in getting networking products out the door. djane >>I understand your surprise on LU's comment that "next year" they'll add VoIP feature cards into their RAS and switches. But believe me, when LU says they're going to do this, it's on a far larger scale than ASND and CSCO think about. They understand the user control point and back office applications better than anyone with the one exception (possibly) being Bellcore. Do not make the mistake of thinking that ASND can take on LU in the voice space. Even Cisco is going to need more help.<< OG
