ALTIF has just filed a S-3/A (an amendment to the S-3 and S-3/A previously filed by Altair on Feb 3, 1998 and April 10,1998 respectively). Altair is now officially estimating that the # of shares which can be received by the debenture-holders (on conversion) is 644,973 (based on a discount to the current price). This figure was originally estimated at 359,223 and later revised to 591,139 shares.

The rest of the filing is routine stuff.
