NCR is getting well known for its datawarehousing efforts as well as other solutions. RECENT NOTABLE ORDERS * UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD, the largest railroad in North America, will use an NCR Scalable Data Warehouse solution with Teradata to improve its business operations, including the management of rental payments for its railroad cars. * SAISHUNKAN PHARMACY CO. LTD, a leading Japanese mail-order supplier of healthcare products, has placed a $2.25 million order for an NCR Call Center solution to improve its telemarketing. This order is a replacement of the current Northern Telecom system *** CENTRAL BANK OF RUSSIA has purchased an NCR WorldMark/LifeKeeper-based solution, valued at $1.5 million, to speed up payment processing. NCR Professional Services is providing consulting, integration, and project management; and NCR Customer Services is providing installation and maintenance support.
