Lee,

I feel better now that I have vented, but the motives of these people is so obvious. I am from South Carolina and the attorney general here is involved also. He really doesnt know squat about IT but that surely isnt a barrier to entry for a feeding frenzy. He also is involved in the Worldcom/Mci merger and was even interviewed on CNBC..just what he wanted. Of course it should come as no surprise that he did NOT enlist his services in the tobacco litigation, South Carolina being a tobacco growing state. Whatever the outcome, he has gotten his exposure. I may use Dell profits to support his opponent in any upcoming race he enters. (Ha! Swamp the sucker)

Also, interestingly, in the Microsoft case, very little public mention has been elicited from the CIO's of corporations who actually use MSFT products...either competitors(puckhead McNeally) or vendors. Check this out:

By the way I dont know if you saw the Senate subcommitte hearings with Senator Oral Hatchet, but our 95 year old senior senator, Strom Thurmond was in on the questioning. The man no longer knows what planet he is on, much less what a browser is. Oh well...I guess that's representative government at work.

regards,

stephen
