I like $5 and under stocks... and there are PLENTY of listed and fully reporting stocks here ... as a general rule (there ARE no hard and fast rules) I like listed stocks better simply because the MM's have actual guidelines and rules they must follow.

With a BB stock, they can screw you over BIG time...

For market orders on BB stock, the MM must fill it in a "prompt" manner. Last time I looked in the dictionary, there was NO time limit on prompt... I've lost a LOT of $$ stupidly placing market orders that weren t filled until it was to the MM's benefit..
Limit orders protect that from happening, but there is NO guarantee that they will be filled. AND the MM's have 3 DAYS to tell you if it was filled......

One more point.... do NOT use waterhouse securities as your online broker...
