News Flash! May 8th 2001. It was reported this morning that the Justice Debt raided a party @ Steve Case's (AOL's multi-billionaire, Ceo paradise). The party was apparently co-hosted by Mr Aposporos, Amazon.com's PR guy.
Also attending the party were the Ceo's of Barnes & Noble, Borders Group, Waldenbooks and another 1000 on-line book seller's.
The Ceo of Crown books was missing due to him having to appear @ a bankruptcy hearing.
The Justice Dept said 'This was not a party but a price fixing scheme which is still illegal in America'.
It was reported that, after Mr Aposporos was led out the door in handcuffs, he replied 'We had to do this'.
He was apparently referring to the fear he was experiencing, from his shareholders, as they were starting to become violent, over increasing revenues but continuing 'NO PROFITS'.
Amazons stock price today, took a big hit down almost 1point to close @ $1000ps. Although, todays low for the stock sunk to $1.00ps, Wall Street began buying, when the Analysts, said ' Amazon could break even by 2005 or 2025.
Dow Jones dated today.
