Lee: Your right about the windy city. I hope they are part of the initial cities picked for the FNet startup-switch ceremony.
Speaking of an FNet switch on party, I hope that when FNet is up and runningwe have a Ball-room type atmosphere with official date. We need to have guest speakers such as Jeff Pulver, VIP's, Al Gore types, city officials, and anyone else within the Telephony arena. It should be a huge PRESS RELEASE for anyone connectd to IP companies to attend. Of course again, everyone is way to busy for any PR stuff? ggg

Here's an ad I came up with messing around with what might work in reference to corporations making moves every year. A Corporate mail-out of sorts>
A Corporate MessageFrom Franklin Telecom
Corporations on the move in the US amount to over 25%, with billions spent annually. Moves, add-ons and changes are a continuing expensive nightmare for the world's corporate telecom managers. The on-going cost with supervising the move is a total nightmare.
The Franklin Corporate "Tempest" Program savings with IP telephony is twofold: first, no cable additions. Cat 5 LAN cabling. One common cable plant. Two Pair. Standard 10-Base T Ethernet. You run your phones and your data (and video) LAN on the same cable plant. Home runs to hubs, not to the PBX's. Stable cable. No constant pulling, installing, de-installing. No cross-connecting. You plug your phone in wherever you have an RJ-45 LAN identifiers, like DHCP, recognizes the new "phone," logs in it and give it all its networking privileges ---- akin to what you do every morning when you turn your LANed PC on. Once logged in and left connected, it run like a normal phone. No more logging in.
second, there's no need for someone expert ( and expensive) to fiddle with reprogramming the PBX when you change features on a phone. All this is done with a browser via screens on your local PC, networked to the IP telephony server, which acts as the central PBX "cabinet" for your IP telephony phone system by the Franklin Telecom "Tempest" Program.
Call Franklin Telecom now before you make your next move. Our professional staff will show you how easy a one-time*life-time IP setup can be.
PICK YOUR BRIEFCASE UP AND GO!!!!
Yea!....... give them something that will really set them straight before a corporate move it to take place. ggg |
