Agreed that at last we are finally starting to see some good titles in the pipeline. Once again we see that New World Computing was a great strategic acquisiton as another potential M&M hit comes out. I saw both Army Men and M&M VI get a good color ad last week in one of the sunday newspaper circulars from a major computer store-- can't remember which, either Computer City or CompUSA.

High Heat sounds like a sleeper hit-- but stockholders don't want that, we want sales! I don't know if they expected it to sell itself or what, but I was unimpressed with the non-marketing of High Heat. I don't care if High Heat is the greatest MLB game ever and EA's is the worst ever, the EA Sports franchise has a lot of marketing sway and that means sales (speaking of EA, how about that ERTS stock price?!?)

I am worried about the results of the current quarter. Very little revenue generation other than Uprising, and heavy R&D costs for current title lineup. I wouldn't mind adding a little bit to my position, but I think I'd just as soon wait for the earnings (loss) before placing any bets. Stock price certainly isn't in a hurry to go anywhere right now.

A $3 stock with roughly $1.50/share in cash-- I often wonder why somebody hasn't tried to buy them out. Then again, I really can't think of anybody who would want THDO, certainly not ERTS after their first experience as a THDO stockholder!!!

Still and always a loyal owner of the 3DO multiplayer...
