Ms. Grand-mere, It is not illegal for mm's to manipulate, however it is illegal for shareholders to manipulate. MM's can do what they want (hence the name market-makers), they make the market. Short term investors have to learn to play their (the mm's) game, and it is usually an expensive lesson. I personally can tell you I've had a few expensive lessons, as I'm sure RICO,Byron, and all the converted momentum players here have as well. In the words of Charles Schwab - "Consider it the price of tuition". It's a scary world until you learn the rules. Good luck, Hraka
