wallstreeter, It is more expensive than that to do proper financials. However the big issue is that if you put out financial statements and say that they correctly reflect the financial capacity of the corporation- and they don't then you can get your posterior sued off. So you need to move forward carefully and thoroughly- and usually answer lots of questions from the auditing firm before the properly audited financial statements may be released...So it's more of a time issue than a moeny/cost issue..
