self-evaluation:

although i was scared by the mkt this week, i didn't hastily sell on mkt order out of panic. instead, i watched my own stocks for my exit signals and took them when hit. ie: mer, chb, txn prior to first wave correction. and stepped aside as the mkt was "churning".. not tempted to buy while the risks were high. dell and ibm's exits did not get hit, and thus i was rewarded with great gains today.

just some thoughts.

the next barrier for the mkt is to see whether the indexes rise to New highs.
