Jim, you are a convincing person. Shame you don't work for NPTH.

How come you know so much about them? Do you live in that town? I didn't understand this sentence from your last post: <<<I've met several, and worked alongside others prior to Neopath.<<<< Are you an NPTH employee?

I still think that they need either a new CEO or a strong operational officer and a strong planner. Maybe I am uncomfortable with the west coast style.

They need a strong IR person who is allowed to take some initiative rather than simply being a spokesperson. What can you say about a company that when they get approval from the FDA the existing shareholders see this as a good time to exit? This is very unusual but something that I predicted.

Even this rhetoric about saving lives is a bit much. I am sure everyone in the medical profession thinks they are saving lives. Other people think they are doing good deeds too whether it be teaching students, policing bad neighborhoods or collecting garbage. So as an investor that is not what I am looking to hear.

And in fact, I do think that is one of the things that really disturbs me about Nelson. When he goes off on one of his monologues about increasing the ability of labs to perform Pap Tests for those who are not getting adequate care I really wonder if he has lost some brain cells. It is his fiduciary duty to represent the interests of the shareholders not the diseased and potentially diseased. If he can't represent the shareholders, he should retire.

Maybe that is why the existing shareholders are rushing for the exits. They may wish to think of charities and good works in their wills not as part of their investing activities.
