Chris- Freedom is to be able to buy a computer without any OS. I can go to a camera store and buy a camera without film even though the camera is useless without film. Freedom would allow me to buy a computer from a box maker then buy any OS I choose. I could even write my own! I would like the freedom to select and negotiate for the OS like any other part of the computer.

I would like to see the DOJ force the box makers to offer the computer
and the OS as two separate purchases.
