I'm only halfway thru the book, but I don't see many Gorilla candidates being put forth on this thread. A lot of the companies mentioned don't have a value chain or are in a market where switching costs are very low.

Not to rag on ARM, which is a company I've liked for over a decade. I just don't see how its a gorilla candidate.

It seems to me that we have the gorillas in routers, cpus and oses. The next gorilla will be in a new and upcomming paradigm. Maybe set-top boxes will be the next paradigm that could give rise to a gorilla.
